Mt. Kilimanjaro Climb – Marangu Route
Day 1: Nairobi – Moshi
All would be participants converge at Silver Springs Hotel (Opposite Nairobi Hospital) at 0745hrs. We leave for Arusha at approx 0800hrs by road.
On arrival at Moshi we head to our hotel (3 stars – Zebra Inn Hotel) where we shall be at liberty to relax and discover the town on our own.
Dinner will be at Saltz Burger Restaurant (a renowned restaurant in Moshi & frequently used by mountaineers)
Day 2: Moshi – Marangu Gate
You will depart at 8:00 am and drive to Marangu gate for a walk through a thick rain forest, which takes four hours to Mandara Hut (2750m) for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Mandara Hut – Horombo Hut
After breakfast you will walk slowly following a track through the forest and then through the savannah bush to Horombo Hut (3,489m) for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Horombo Hut – Kibo Hut
This is a hard day climb to Kibo Hut (4703 m 6-7 hrs) crossing the barren sub-alpine terrain of the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. You will need to rest on arrival as the next stage begins shortly after midnight.

Day 5: Kibo Hut – Horombo Hut
You will make a very early start at around 1:00 am follow the zigzag path up the mountain, stopping frequently to catch breathe in this starlit air. This is the steepest and most demanding section of the climb, five hours to Gillman’s point (5681 m) to view the sunrise behind Mawenzi illuminating the plain . Then walk a further 45 minutes around the crater and up to the highest point, UHURU PEAK, the roof of Africa. Thereafter descend Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Horombo Hut – Marangu Gate
It is a much easier day as you will have the pleasure of walking downhill on the way to the waiting vehicle at Marangu gate for transfer to your hotel.

Day 7
We leave Moshi for Nairobi at approx 0630Hrs to arrive in Nairobi at Approx 1500 Hrs.

- All transfers and as mentioned above (From Kenya to Tanzania we use Shuttles- Road transfer).
- Park entry fees at the park (Mt Kilimanjaro).
- Clients to be accompanied by Guide from Nairobi to Tanzania.

- Accommodation on reaching Tanzania (At Moshi) – Zebra Hotel).
- All meals during the safari with exception of lunch on the material day of departure to & from Tanzania.
- Rescue services within Mt Kilimanjaro.
- Meals whilst still being accommodated at “Zebra Inn” Hotel.

Designed for those who have a limited amount of time and want to reach the third highest peak, Pt. Lenana. This challenging, non-technical ascent can be made by any healthy person.
FIVE DAYS 4 NIGHTS SIRIMON TREK (Sirimon In –Sirimon Out)
The Sirimon Track is one of the finest approaches to the peak area. It offers some of the best views of the main peaks, with a gradual climb, which can be done leisurely. We traverse the mountain by ascending the Sirimon Track.
Day 1
We depart from Nairobi at 6:00 am (latest) for a road transfer. We arrive in Nanyuki at 10:30 am. where we shall have lunch.
At 1130 hrs we shall depart for the Sirimon Park gate.
Our Mountain trek starts from this point after a few formalities at the gate, an easy trek in the afternoon to help acclimatization. Overnight will be at Old Mosses (3300m) in the high altitude mountain cabins. By the end of the day we will have done 5 hours of walking.
Day 2
The day starts at 0700 Hrs.
By the end of this day we shall have done about 8 hrs of walking (Leisurely). This will be a true test of patience, endurance & determination.
Ascend the Sirimon Track to Likii North Valley, in this beautiful little valley below the subsidiary peaks of Teleki and Sendeyo, two ancient parasitic vents of the main peaks. (3990m).Climb out of the North Valley and into the Mackinders Valley, one of the broadest valleys on the mountain, with many giant groundsels. Camp at Shiptons Cabins the of the Mackinder’s Valley, just below the main peaks of Batian and Nelion (4,300m).
Day 3
This day shall be spent relaxing at the base camp as we acclimatize. You shall explore the other lower peaks.
Day 4
The day starts at 0200 Hrs.
We start early so that we can reach the Peak by Sunrise.Alpine ascent to the highest peak, Pt. Lenana (4985m). En route up the north face little used by tourists. Four hours of stiff walking to the summit. This will be the most challenging bit of the Mt Trek and will require a strong mind to reach the summit. At about 0730 Hrs we shall start the descend back to Shiptons camp. The rest of the day shall be spent resting at the camp having conquered Mt Kenya (Pt Lenana ).
Day 5
The day starts at 0800 Hrs.
We shall leave Shimptons camp and start our 4 Hrs walk out of the Park. We shall have a stop over at Old Moses where we shall have lunch. We shall be met by our van at the gate and head back home with a stop over at Nanyuki.
We shall leave Nanyuki at 1300 hrs for Nairobi.

At about 0730 Hrs we shall start the descend back to Mintos Hut where we shall have break fast. Latter on we shall then descend to the Mt Kenya Meru Banda’s.
Day 5
The day starts at 0800 Hrs.
We shall leave Mt Kenya Meru Banda’s and start our 4 Hrs walk out of the Park via Chogoria.

This is by far the most spectacular and beautiful route on Mt. Kenya, in which you ascend from Naromoru Route and descend through Chogoria Route.
Day 1
We leave Nairobi at 0600 Hrs for Naromoru.
We arrive at Naromoru at 10.30am where we shall have lunch.
At 1130 hrs we shall depart for the Naromoru park gate.
Our Mountain trek starts from this point after a few formalities at the gate, an easy trek in the afternoon to help acclimatization. Overnight will be at Met Station (3300m) in the high altitude mountain cabins. By the end of the day we will have done 4 hours of walking.
Day 2
After breakfast, trek to Makinders through Teleki Valley.We will be accommodated at the Makinders Bandas for overnight. Lunch is served on the way. Trekking time 8 hours.
Day 3
The day starts at 0200 Hrs.
We start early so that we can reach the Peak at Sunrise.
Alpine ascent to the highest peak, Pt. Lenana (4985m). Four hours of stiff walking to the summit. This will be the most challenging bit of the Mt Trek and will require a strong mind to reach the summit. At about 0730 Hrs we shall start the descend to Shiptons Camp where we shall have an overnight stay. The decent shall take 2 Hours.
Day 4
After break fast we leave Shiptons Camp for Meru lodge Banda’s where we shall be accommodated for the night. We shall have trekked for 4 hours.
Day 5
Descend down through the Chogoria route.
